Mark Jackson (2008)
Born
and raised in Leeds, England, Mark joined the Saints for the 2008
season as a coach for the Women's Division I team. He is a member of the
Yarnbury Rugby Football Club in Horsforth where he helped coach the U17
side. A front row player when on the field, Mark is excited to coach
the Saints Women, who are already equipped with a dominant pack and a quick and hard-hitting back line.
Stephen Lister and Dave Lee (2006-2007)
Susan Shaw (2004-2005)
Richard Wade (2003)
Dawn-Marie Sharp (1999-2002)
Dawn-Marie has been a member of the Saints Women's team as a coach
and player from its inception in 1999. She has taken the squad to reach
from its beginning depth of seven players, to her last season as the
2001 Southern Alberta Champions and 2001 Alberta Provincial Division II
Champions. This is a historical moment for the Calgary Rugby Union, as it
was the first time ever in 20 years, that a Calgary team took the cup home.
Dawn's coaching philosophy is a
holistic approach. She blends humour, open-mindedness, lead by
example, player equality, learner centered trainings, integrity, fellowship, enthusiasm, and safety on to the field. This coaching system has catapulted the Saints Women's team and individual
players into the forefront of Alberta rugby.
